Backstage Hat Bar
Parker McCollum & LANY
My new favorite backstage activity, a custom hat bar, has been a big hit with the crew and artists of several shows! From saying hats off to 2023 with Parker McCollum to making hats for Paul and Jake of LANY, we’ve had some incredible experiences and gotten some amazing feedback. Paul Jason Klein even loved his hat so much, he took in on the road and showed it off on his Instagram.
TUL Gas Company
Justin Timberlake: 6/6/24
TUL Gas Company was our unique back-of-house experience for Justin Timberlake, inspired by his gas station-themed tour photos. In addition to a coffee cart “fuel station,” TUL Gas Company featured an array of merch items complete with many references to some of our favorite JT hits. This set of custom designs (by me) was truly some of my favorite work, but don’t just take it from me!
I’m impressed" - Justin Timberlake
Believe it or not, the quote above isn’t just from my dreams! In fact, it’s a direct quote from JT’s reel where he showcases our BOH set-up. Give it a watch (or 100), I sure know I have!
Hozier’s Apothecary
Hozier: 8/10/24
Turns out when you mix nature, “dark academia,” and Hozier, you get the Unreal Unearth Apothecary. This interactive backstage set-up is complete with custom seed packets and a “pick your poison” station (aka custom water bottles and Hozier inspired stickers). This fun, yet practical takeaway was a huge hit with the tour and even made it to Hozier himself. Lastly, let’s also take a moment for the wall wrap which features some of Hozier’s own drawings and a collection of some of my personal favorite lyrics.
Oklahoma’s All For the Hall: 3/30/24
In celebration of Oklahoma’s All for the Hall, a charity concert featuring some of Oklahoma’s biggest names in music, we created a backstage set-up meant to honor their Oklahoma roots. This display began with a postcard style wall wrap, with each letter showcasing the hometown of each of the acts. From there we created “Blake’s Souvenir Shop” inspired by a local Tulsa gift shop, which included custom hats, souvenir license plates, and postcards.
